Update on Ice Conditions and Winter Lake Access:
Sorry folks, we do not feel the ice conditons are safe enough to open our winter lake access by this weekend. We feel we should wait another week.
We will continue to check the ice daily and will update you as ice conditions improve and will be sure to post when we plan to open the access.
We did gain some inches in the area that was measuring 2-3 inches this past Sunday – but just not enough that we feel it is safe for the …access to let people out in this area.
Stay tune for updates!
We invite you to call our land line between the hours of 7a.m. and 10 p.m. for our most recent “Winter Lake Access Information”

New Day house has Ski’s!!! Dale finished her up today, we have a little more to do with interior stuff, table, chairs, etc.
Today I cleaned our other 2 dayhouses top to bottom – 3 hours a house😮 but the cobwebs are gone and all the bug’s etc.
Plus plenty of snow moving again today- darn wind making drifts!!!!
No good reaults from the ice check. Will check ice again tomorrow and post an update. -c-
Visibility still low, 100 yards or so, pretty good wind whipping again today and is suppose to get stronger as the day goes on.
Unable to see the lake area that was only 2-3 inches of ice on Sunday due to low visibility. Snow accumulation for us was 8-11 inches of snow. Yesterday spent the day plowing snow and getting a few repairs done.
As soon as the visibility clears and wind calms down we will have a new update. Expecting improving conditions tomorrow.
Winches, Ski’s, stakes, antenna’s – oh my!! That was just a little of what we did today! Fun day for sure!! Ski’s and lift arm’s for the New Day House and New Sleeper, Antenna for the New Sleeper and Dale said I wouldn’t be able to get the Antenna together! Ha Ha Dale!!! I did it! -c-
Carpet’s done and heater installed! Did you know that now they DO NOT come with a thermostat BUT for an additional $20 you can purchase one for your new propane vented heater! So the new heater is hard wired and runs continuously with out a thermostat. Needless to say we are purchasing a thermostat. Wow!
